Release Date: 11/14/17
Kayla knows the pain of loss after the death of her older brother in a fire. The she broke up with Abram when he says he wants to spend more time with his friends than with her. She thinks things will be different with Jamie, but then tragedy strikes and he buries himself in his work to try and forget. The problem is that Jamie can’t forget anything, not his guilt and not Kayla.
The themes of family, forgiveness, love, and strength are woven throughout the story. The plot does slow in the middle of the book, but it is still a great choice for all readers of Amish fiction.
