Isabella is the eldest daughter of a newspaper baron and dreams of becoming a reporter. Aviation is her passion after seeing Mr. Wright’s historic flight, so Isabella is secretly working on a series of editorials profiling pilots who are training to successfully fly across the English Channel.

One of those pilots is James, a young man who’s determined to be the first to complete the harrowing flight. When Isabella and her family move into the estate house on the grounds where James has his test flights, the two can’t deny their attraction and must decide whether to follow society’s plans for them or follow their hearts.

This stand-alone novel is set in the early 20th century, when air travel was still a fantastic dream that only a few believed in. Readers will be encouraged to follow their dreams like the characters do.
