Love by the Numbers
By Laura Hilton
Publisher: Whitaker House
Release Date: 02/06/18
Part Scarlet Letter, part romantic comedy, this title is set in 2017 but feels more like 1917.
Fans of the prolific Hilton will recognize her Amish vocabulary and religious traditions that create and resolve the problems faced by her star-crossed couple.
The vivacious Lydia and stoic Caleb are thrown together, both guarding secrets from their recent pasts. Hilton keeps the story moving quickly, using some tension, humor, romance, and culture to keep her devotees sprinting through the 243-page novel.
While anyone of any age could read and enjoy this, tweeners and women will probably enjoy this tale the most.
